On behalf of the International Cancer Center of El Salvador (CIC), we are pleased to invite you to the Functional Radiosurgery 2025 Workshop, to be held on May 15-16 at the Hilton Hotel in San Salvador.
Since the invention of the Gamma Knife by Lars Leksell, radiosurgery has revolutionized neurosurgery and radiation oncology. Advances in magnetic resonance imaging and modern algorithms make it possible to treat neural circuits with unprecedented precision.
There are still challenges to consolidate radiosurgery as a standard option in refractory pathologies such as psychiatric disorders, abnormal movements, epilepsy and chronic pain. This workshop will bring together international experts to share knowledge and explore new frontiers in functional neurosurgery.
It will be an enriching event and we look forward to seeing you in May in El Salvador!
Sincerely,
MD. Eduardo Lovo
Director of Intracranial Radiosurgery
Centro Internacional de Cáncer de El Salvador
